Boys by Ella Hickson at Courtyard Theatre

Following a successful run in Durham, Fourth Wall Theatre and Lion Theatre Company present their production of Boys by Ella Hickson as part of their UK tour. Boys plays at The Courtyard Theatre, Hoxton, London, this Thursday – Saturday (27th- 29th).

It is a matter of days before Benny, Mack, Timp and Cam have to move out of their student flat. The boys find mess piling up around them as they step out into an unwelcoming world and they start to wonder if there is any point in getting older. Before that though, there is going to be one hell of a party. It is hot. There’ll be girls. Predict a riot.

Boys is special in that it is simultaneously funny, tragic and extremely real. This play offers a genuine and painful view into the difficulties of those who refuse to grow up in a delightfully entertaining way.

An extremely naturalistic play, a microcosm of real student life; the play is both relevant and real to students, those who will be students and those who have been students.

Our tour aims to bring Boys to as many people as possible, from a company made up of recent graduates and university students looking to enter the theatre industry.
