Not seen in Edinburgh since 2017 and fresh from a run in London’s West End, BMT (Bromance) return with their biggest show yet KIN, an innovative and exhilarating five-star show about camaraderie now brought to life by a new cast.

KIN, BMT’s second show was co-commissioned by the Roundhouse London and was a sold-out hit at CircusFest 2016. Fooling about with group dynamics KIN follows the shifts, alignments and realignments of groups through high-octane circus skills, incredible feats of strength, hand-to-hand balancing, banquine, teeter board, acrobatics and Cyr wheel routines.

As the group compete for attention and approval, the performers’ physical prowess is deftly deployed, as tumbling, flying and catching become challenges and opportunities for individual bids of recognition. KIN is directed by distinguished choreographer Ben Duke, Olivier Award nominee, and co-founder/director of Lost Dog.

BMT were founded by Louis Gift, Beren D’Amico and Charlie Wheeller in 2013. They took Bromance to Edinburgh for the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and an international hit show was born! Together, they are the face of modern British circus, combining a mind-blowing mix of physical stunts, contemporary dance and innovative theatrics.

Louis Gift says, We can’t wait to bring KIN – our biggest show yet – back to Edinburgh… slightly reimagined with a handful of new artists. KIN grapples with control, being seen, competition and camaraderie – it is spectacular and intimate, hilarious and touching. We think audiences will revel in the mesmerising world of KIN!
