Stand-up musician Huge Davies (as seen on Comedy Central at the Comedy Store and in Norris & Parker: Burn the Witch) makes his hotly anticipated solo debut in The Carpark at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

The Carpark will feature dark humour, surreal jingles, melodious punchlines and, of course, carparks. Huge Davies has drawn on a variety of musical genres to create an unusual musical comedy show in which his darkly surreal routines are accompanied by an eclectic score. Huge has also fashioned a one-of a kind full size wearable keyboard. He will attempt to wear this around his neck for most of the show, which will be funny but he’ll struggle to get through the hour.

Huge Davies has quickly become one the most exciting and unique comedy performers in the UK. Having made it to the final of numerous new act competitions in 2017, Huge secured his place as ‘one to watch’ with his distinctive deadpan delivery, offbeat outlook, indisputable musical skill and customised wearable keyboard.

Huge has already appeared on Comedy Central at the Comedy Store and has been featured as One To Watch on Comedy Central Online. Most recently he has appeared, alongside the likes of Kerry Godliman and Milton Jones, in Out There – a comedy pilot for ITV from the makers of Mock the Week. His comedy performances have featured on BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 4, BBC3 & ITV1 and he is a regular performer for The Hook Online.

In 2018, Huge composed music for and performed in Norris & Parker: Burn The Witch at the Pleasance. The show enjoyed a sell out run and received rave reviews, many of which praised Huge’s performance with The Telegraph describing him as “scene-stealing”. Huge regularly performs at some of the biggest clubs around UK, such as The Comedy Store, Komedia, The Boat Show, Up the Creek, Manford’s Comedy Club and The Frog & Bucket. He has also performed at Comedy Central Live, Uttrect International Comedy Festival, Killkenny Comedy Festival, Bestival, Latitude and has supported Glenn Wool at the Toomler in Amsterdam.  He is a member of the Soho Young Company Comedy Lab and performs regularly at sold out showcases at the Soho Theatre.
