Following the success of their live online Murder Mysteries in lockdown last year, enjoyed by some 750 households, GSC return with a brand-new case for families and friends to solve.
Soho, London, 1955. The Verona Lounge is the crown jewel of London’s coolest cabaret bars; frequented by everyone from film stars to politicians, as well as the capital’s criminal underworld. But when a body is discovered in one of the dressing rooms, no-one is calling for an encore…
Using the Zoom platform, guests arrive at The Verona Lounge to be greeted once again by gossip grandee Solanio, the host of GSC’s previous two mysteries. The live story is played out by actors and interspersed with break-out rooms where the audience get to interrogate the characters. Start times vary to ensure as many households as possible can take part.
Matt Pinches, Co-Founder: “Our online Murder Mysteries have been a wonderful way for households to meet up and share an experience together. Throughout 2020 GSC have continued to provide entertainment for our audiences and we’re thrilled that together with our other 4 live original productions, we’ve brought together over 3300 households across the world. The Murder Mysteries are enormous fun and a great way to support the arts and the artists we employ.”
“Amazing fun! Engaging, interactive and with many, many laughs.” Participant, 2020
Joining the cast this time are GSC familiar faces Simon Nock, Robert Mountford and Sally Cheng, along with Murder Mystery regulars Sarah Gobran and Eli Murton.
The last two mysteries, set in the 1920s and 80s, saw audiences go to very creative lengths to get in the mood for their night out in, with cocktails, room decorations and fancy dress. GSC’s Murder Mysteries are also available to hire for private parties, which have proved extremely popular for celebrating special occasions otherwise not possible due to lockdown.
