Improvised comedy group Insert Laughter Here announce the 2025 tour dates for their chaotic long-form format, Spin-a-Play.

The tour kicks off with two preview performances in East Anglia: Norwich’s Maddermarket Theatre on Friday, April 4, and Bury St Edmunds’s Hunter Club Arts Centre on Friday, April 25. The show then heads to the Brighton Fringe for performances at the Rotunda Theatre in Regency Square on May 10-11 and May 23-24. Following this, the tour returns to East Anglia for a night at King’s Lynn’s Westacre Theatre on June 20, before visiting the Camden Fringe with performances at The Hen & Chickens Theatre on August 1 and The Museum of Comedy on August 16.

In this completely improvised comedy show, the audience suggests genres for a “brand new” play to be made up on the spot by the performers. The genres are placed on a spinning wheel to determine which one will be performed. Guests also provide suggestions to start the play and shape the action as it unfolds, deciding whether it goes right or wrong and even choosing how it ends.

Insert Laughter Here celebrated the fifth anniversary of their first public performance in June 2024. In 2025, after bringing new members into the team, they have been working on bringing Spin-a-Play back in time for the summer fringe festivals. The group, mostly centered around Suffolk and Norfolk, has built a loyal audience following across the counties.

More information and ticket links for the tour dates of Spin-a-Play can be found here.
