It’s the night before Christmas and there are lessons to be learnt. Together, can we find the true meaning of the most wonderful time of the year.

You’re appearing in A Song For Christmas at The POD, what can you tell us about the show?

A Song For Christmas is a super festive, high energy piece of theatre that will be sure to raise your spirits and get you in the mood for Christmas! The piece has a brilliant script written by Alice Croft and is accompanied by some excellent songs too.

What has impressed you the most about Alice Croft’s script?

Alice has cleverly crafted a script that is both amusing for children and adults alike, and I’m super excited to bring her work and ideas to life! The songs blend really well with the script and create a really fun and festive piece of theatre.

How are you planning to juggle the festive season along with performing and studying?

Juggling the three is a difficult task, but with planning and a bit of time management it has been possible! Whilst it has taken a bit of juggling, I’m looking forward to starting A Song For Christmas, because I know it’s going to be so much fun every day. I also can’t wait to play a child who’s excited for Christmas – every adult’s dream, right?!

Tell us a little about Marley, your character?

Marley, or ‘Explorer Marley’ as they prefer to go by, is a super intelligent and very fun kid. They know endless amounts of facts and knowledge about many different things and absolutely love to explore. They’re very excited for Christmas and really enjoy preparing for the day alongside their 3 cuddly toys; Potto, Acorn and Mr Fox!

What would you say to anyone thinking of coming to see A Song For Christmas?

Book your tickets now. You are not going want to miss out on this wonderful, heartwarming piece of theatre! (My mum has booked to come and watch both shows on her birthday, so there’s no reason why everyone shouldn’t be booking a ticket!) The script and songs are excellent, and I am so thrilled to be performing alongside two brilliant performers as well: Sydney Hocknell and Richard Aaron. Tickets on sale now – don’t miss out!
