Soho Theatre has announced the full cast and creative team for The Virgins, a new play by Miriam Battye (Strategic Love Play, Succession), directed by Olivier Award-nominated Jaz Woodcock-Stewart (Paradise Now!, Grud).

Set to run in Soho Theatre’s Main House from 29 January to 7 March 2026, The Virgins follows a group of teenagers preparing for a big night out. The press night will take place on Thursday 5 February.

The cast includes Zoë Armer as Anya, Alec Boaden as Mel, Ella Bruccoleri as Jess, Anushka Chakravarti as Chloe, Molly Hewitt-Richards as Phoebe, and Ragevan Vasan as Joel.

The creative team features Rosie Elnile (Set and Costume Design), Bethany Gupwell (Lighting Design), Anna Clock (Sound Design), Polly Jerrold CDG (Casting), Raniah Al-Sayed (Intimacy Direction), Megan Rarity (Costume Supervision), and Davin Patrick for The Production Family (Production Management). Artist Wellbeing provides production wellbeing support, and David Luff serves as Executive Producer.

Review: Love Conditions at Old Red Lion Theatre

Friday night. Four girls. Two boys. Alone in a house. Some of them are in love. Most of them are virgins. Everyone’s pretending they know what they’re doing.

Tonight’s the night they stop pretending.

The Virgins is described as a funny and devastating fever dream of desire and teenagerhood. It forms part of Soho Theatre’s season of in-house new writing, which includes Little Brother, Most Favoured, Welcome to Pemfort, and Tender.
