For one night only, Auntie Empire storms the Edinburgh Festival Fringe with a riotous blend of bouffon comedy, satire, and grotesque absurdity. Presented by Disaster Plan and Jordan & Skinner, this outrageous solo show by Julia Taudevin plays at Summerhall’s The Dissection Room on Friday 22 August at 17:30.

Auntie is a sweet old dear—or so she claims. Dressed in tartan and dripping with nostalgia, she’s gathered us to celebrate the glory of dear old Blighty. But her body is falling apart, and she has some tragic, terrible, and most pressing news. And she needs your help.
