Edinburgh Fringe Review: Missed Connections at theSpace @ Niddry Street

Fringe First-winning duo Xhloe and Natasha return to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2025 with a full-force triple bill of their acclaimed shows: And Then the Rodeo Burned Down, What If They Ate The Baby?, and A Letter To Lyndon B. Johnson Or God: Whoever Reads This First. Running from 1–23 August (excluding 10 & 17 August) at theSpace @ Niddry Street, the trio of performances will rotate across two daily time slots.

Known for their absurdist physical theatre, clowning, and queer-centred comedy, the New York-based pair explore American archetypes and socio-political themes through tightly choreographed, fast-paced storytelling. From rodeo clowns and suburban housewives to boy scouts and presidents, their work interrogates gender, identity, and power with wit and theatrical flair.

Each show stands alone but together forms a powerful, genre-defying exploration of queerness, resistance, and American mythology. With three consecutive Fringe First Awards and international acclaim, this triple bill is a celebration of the duo’s meteoric rise and the transformative power of the Fringe.
