Di, Viv and Rose

Handmade Theatre makes its Edinburgh Festival Fringe debut staging their condensed version of Di and Viv and Rose (in an hour) written by Amelia Bullmore. The production will be performed at C Cubed, Brodie’s Close, Lawnmarket, Royal Mile, Edinburgh, EH1 2PQ, from Thursday 2 – Tuesday 14 August at 5.55pm.

The play looks at the bond between three women and features Louisa Harland (Derry Girls) as Di, Allegra Marland (Goodbye Christopher Robin) as Viv and Georgie Oulton as Rose. The production is a humorous and thoughtful exploration of love, loss, sexual encounters and enduring friendships. The relationships that evolves on stage resonates with the topical issues of women joining forces all over the world today.

Di and Viv and Rose was originally produced at Hampstead Theatre before transferring to the West End. This successful drama has also been performed in Israel, Poland, Germany, Australia, America and Canada. Handmade Theatre has been touring the condensed version in schools where pupils found the production relatable and informative to their lives.

Handmade Theatre is an emerging female led theatre company formed in 2017 by Allegra Marland and Georgie Oulton. The company aims to tell stories with women at the forefront, and collaborate with young professionals to promote inclusivity within the arts.
