Audience participation

Gigglemug Theatre return to the Edinburgh Fringe with RuneSical – a musical parody of the video game RuneScape.

Sword equipped. Potions ready. High-speed internet connected. Based on the popular online game RuneScape, join Lance_054 (the first 53 were taken) on a quest where the audience choose what happens next!

Whether you’re an experienced player or a total noob, the Stage Award-winning Gigglemug Theatre (Timpson: The Musical & The Bean Spillers: The Improvised Musical) present an interactive parody musical which will have the whole family laughing from start to finish.

After winning a BAFTA, 4 Guinness World Records and the hearts of millions of players worldwide, RuneScape has finally achieved something significant… it’s now the subject of a brand new comedy musical!

With millions of players enjoying RuneScape over the last 20 years, Sam Cochrane and Alex Prescot set out to create a show (with an entirely original story, book and score) that is both nostalgic for RuneScape players past and present and enjoyable for those who have never even heard of it!
