Cameron Mackintosh, in association with Nick Grace Management, is thrilled to announce the complete cast for the UK performances of the highly anticipated Les Misérables The Arena Spectacular World Tour. The show is set to open at the SSE Arena in Belfast on September 19, 2024, and will feature a grand ensemble of over 65 actors and musicians.
The standout role of Éponine will be portrayed by Emily Bautista, who previously enchanted audiences in the North American Tour of Les Misérables. Bautista’s impressive resume includes her portrayal of Kim in Miss Saigon on Broadway and on tour, as well as appearances in Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin and films such as Which Brings Me to You.
Joining her will be celebrated performers Alfie Boe and Killian Donnelly, who will share the role of Jean Valjean, and Michael Ball and Bradley Jaden, who will alternate as Javert. The cast also includes Bonnie Langford as Madame Thénardier, Gavin Lee as Thénardier, Jac Yarrow as Marius, Beatrice Penny-Touré as Cosette, Channah Hewitt as Fantine, James D. Gish as Enjolras, and Jeremy Secomb as the Bishop of Digne.
This arena version of Les Misérables builds upon the immense success of Les Misérables The Staged Concert, which had a record-breaking run in the West End. The Arena Spectacular promises an expanded and immersive experience, featuring innovative new designs tailored specifically for large-scale venues. With a company of over 110 actors, musicians, and crew members, this production is poised to be one of the most ambitious yet.
Nick Grace, renowned for producing international touring hits like BATMAN LIVE, WALKING WITH DINOSAURS, and MAMMA MIA! among others, joins forces with Cameron Mackintosh for this spectacular tour. As Les Misérables approaches its 40th anniversary, the Arena Spectacular will celebrate the legacy of the world’s longest-running musical with performances in cities across the UK and Europe.
The UK leg of the tour will include performances in Belfast, Glasgow, Sheffield, Aberdeen, Manchester, and Newcastle. Each venue will also host BSL-interpreted and audio-described performances to ensure accessibility for all fans.
