Best of London Theatre Awards

Presented by London theatre education charity, Go Live Theatre Projects, the Best of London Theatre (B.O.L.T) Awards sponsored by TodayTix is created and organised by the charity’s brilliant Youth Forum, made up of young people aged 15–23.

The B.O.L.T Awards take place at Wonderville, in the heart of the West End, on 18th February 2024 at 3pm. This is an exciting opportunity for young members of the general public to have their say by voting for who wins! This is the first awards ceremony that has been held since the pandemic and these nominations are from shows/performers from 2022–2023.

Top shows shortlisted this year include The Crucible, The Phantom of the Opera, Come From Away, and For Black Boys…

Young people aged 15–29 can vote now at www.golivetheatre.org.uk/bolt-awards in categories including Power of the Ensemble, Bring it Back, and Spectacular Set, as well as Best Musical (Les Misérables, The Secret Life of Bees, The Phantom of the Opera, Come From Away) and Best Play (All Of It, My Neighbour Totoro, For Black Boys…, Accidental Death of an Anarchist). There is also a Special Recognition for Contribution to Theatre Award to highlight some of the pioneering work being done within the industry.

Young people can purchase tickets for just £5 to be there on the day to see the winners crowned! Head to www.golivetheatre.org.uk/bolt-awards-tickets for tickets.

In February 2023, Mousetrap Theatre Projects rebranded and is now known under the name: Go Live Theatre Projects. The charity continues to help make theatre accessible to young people through educational programmes in schools, work with low income families, youth groups, and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). The B.O.L.T Awards were formerly known as The Mousetrap Awards.
