The production aims to pay homage to Jackson’s musical legacy and transport fans back in time for an unforgettable experience.

“Man in the Mirror” will be performed at Golders Green Hippodrome on Saturday, March 22, 2025. Doors open at 7pm, with the show starting at 7:30pm. Tickets are available now for all tour venues at https://entertainers.co.uk/shows/man-in-the-mirror-a-tribute-to-michael-jackson.

You’re bringing “Man in the Mirror” to Golders Green Hippodrome. What can you tell us about the show?

The show is a live theatre touring production celebrating the music and live performances of the late great Michael Jackson, featuring a full live band, dancers, state-of-the-art sound and lighting, special effects, iconic dance routines and live vocals, including all the hits and live stage performances of the ‘King Of Pop’

How did your journey as a Michael Jackson tribute artist begin, and what inspired you to pursue this path?

I have been imitating MJ since the age of 4, ever since I saw one of his live performances on TV. I realised that I had the talent to become a Michael Jackson tribute artist at the age of 20. My love for MJ’s music and dance is what’s inspired me to try and keep his legacy alive.

Can you walk us through your preparation process for embodying Michael Jackson on stage?

Where do I start…? I guess the preparation has been a very long process, longer than you would expect to be honest. I don’t see my preparation as being on a show to show basis, my preparation has been happening since the age of 4 years old really and has been a 35 year process, always perfecting what I do to the best standard, including vocals, dance, make up, costumes, to extensive research and study. I’m still perfecting it to this day.

What do you think sets “Man in the Mirror” apart from other Michael Jackson tribute shows?

A lot of Michael Jackson tribute shows have artists who are good dancers, but don’t sing live, who sing live but don’t dance well, who look like MJ but can’t perform like MJ. I believe that Man in The Mirror is the most authentic MJ show with a balance of all the MJ qualities performed to the standard expected by MJ fans, it’s a show the fans deserve to see.

How do you balance paying homage to Michael Jackson’s iconic performances while also bringing your own interpretation to the role?

Whilst replicating MJ’s live performances in the show very accurately, we always make it clear that we are here for one thing only, and that’s to celebrate the legacy of the ‘King Of Pop’ I talk to the audience so they can get to know me as well. I show the audience what MJ was all about and what he did for the music industry and the world, which makes it a very respectable tribute to him as an artist.

What would you say to anyone thinking of booking to see “Man in the Mirror”?

Don’t think about it… just do it! You won’t be disappointed. If you had the privilege of seeing a Michael Jackson concert then you are sure to re-live that magic and if you never had the chance of seeing him perform live, then this is definitely the show for you.
