Casting is announced for a major new production of Into The Woods which is set to enchant audiences at the Bridge Theatre this winter, with a strictly limited 20-week run beginning Tuesday 2 December 2025.

Directed by Jordan Fein and featuring set and costume design by Tom Scutt, this fresh staging of Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine’s beloved musical will officially open on Thursday 11 December and run until Saturday 18 April 2026.

The cast includes an impressive line-up of West End talent. Katie Brayben, Olivier Award winner for Tammy Faye, stars as the Baker’s Wife, alongside Jamie Parker (Harry Potter and the Cursed Child) as the Baker.

Joining them are Kate Fleetwood (London Road) as the Witch, Chumisa Dornford-May (Natasha, Pierre and The Great Comet of 1812) as Cinderella, and Gracie McGonigal (The Little Big Things) as Little Red Ridinghood.

Director Jordan Fein said:
“I’m thrilled and honoured to direct this new production of Into The Woods at The Bridge. It’s a musical that speaks to the necessity and power of community through the brilliant music and words of Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine. To create this production with such an extraordinary cast and creative team is an actual dream come true.”

In Into The Woods, the Baker, the Baker’s Wife, the Witch, Jack, Little Red Ridinghood, Cinderella and Rapunzel journey beyond “happily ever after” to discover what truly matters.

This marks the first major London production of Into The Woods since 2016. The musical originally premiered on Broadway in 1986, winning Tony Awards for Best Original Score and Best Book.

The creative team also includes musical supervisor and director Mark Aspinall, sound designer Adam Fisher, lighting designer Aideen Malone, video designer Roland Horvath, and movement director Jenny Ogilvie.

Into The Woods is produced by London Theatre Company.
