ALiCE Jasmin Vardimon

The Jasmin Vardimon Company will be taking ‘ALiCE’ around the UK this January.

Award-winning choreographer Jasmin Vardimon’s creation is a re-imagining of the ground-breaking classic Alice in Wonderland, and promises a sensory feast of arresting images, powerful performers and striking kinetic scenery. This performance has a parental advisory in place as the piece contains some adult themes and is advised for children aged seven and over.

On Tuesday 16th January, ALiCE will be at Connaught Theatre in Worthing, Friday 19th & Saturday 20th January ALiCE will be taking to the Richard Burton Theatre stage at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Dance, Wales. On the 23rd & 24th of January, the Jasmin Vardimon Company will be performing in Huddersfield at the Lawrence Batley Theatre and then moving over to DanceEast, Ipswich, on Friday 26th & Saturday 27th January. The Final stop on the January UK tour is at Taliesin Arts Centre, Swansea on Tuesday 30th & Wednesday 31st January 2024.

‘ALiCE’ tells the story of a woman, or perhaps a child, unsure of her identity or where she is going. Escaping and exploring, discovering the powers within her changing body. The world around her is different, curious, and compelling – at times absolutely bonkers!

ALiCE is not one to miss and the Jasmin Vardimon Company looks forward to welcoming you to the amazing UK venues to witness its magic. Jasmin Vardimon MBE is renowned for her uniquely theatrical choreographic and directorial style combining physical theatre, quirky characterisation, innovative technologies, text, and dance.
