Jenny Ryan: Out Of The Box tour announced for the showbiz singing star of ITV’s The Chase

Jenny Ryan

Jenny Ryan – better known as the Bolton brainbox ‘The Vixen’ on the hit ITV quiz The Chase – will break away from teatime telly when she invites audiences to an evening of song, storytelling and even some showbiz secrets on tour this Autumn in Jenny Ryan: Out Of The Box, following the show’s sell-out highly acclaimed Edinburgh Festival Fringe premiere in 2023.

Join Jenny on a journey through her life and times punctuated by some of her favourite tunes, sung live with the unique powerful voice which blew the judges away on ITV’s X Factor Celebrity, garnering praise from Nicole Scherzinger “Extraordinary… A diva voice” and will.i.am “Jenny – like… What?!?”.

From 11 September until 10 November 2024, Jenny Ryan: Out Of The Box will tour to Lichfield Garrick Theatre, The Lights Andover, The Roses Theatre, Tewkesbury, The Floral Pavillion, New Brighton, The Lowther Pavilion, Lytham St Annes, Chequer Mead Theatre, East Grinstead, The Customs House, South Shields, Pavillion Arts Centre, Buxton, Bolton Octagon, Stourbridge Town Hall, The Barn, Ringwood, The Regal Tenbury Wells, The Capitol Horsham, Taunton Brewhouse, Whitby Pavilion, Stantonbury Theatre,  Milton Keynes, The Electric Theatre, Guildford, Taliesin Arts Centre, Swansea, The Brindley, Runcorn, Haddington Corn Exchange, Edinburgh and Gatehouse Stafford.

Jenny Ryan said: “I can’t wait to take my cabaret show on tour around the UK. It’s nice to be able to share a different side of me with everybody. What’s reassuring is that when I’ve had opportunities to just be me, people have responded in a very positive way. People don’t just like The Vixen, they like Jenny as well so I’d like to share her a bit more. I’m just an ordinary person that happens to be on the biggest quiz show on TV. I’m a different person altogether and not a scary one.”

Jenny Ryan will be joined on stage by the show’s Co-Creator and Musical Director Eoin Mallon. Eoin, affectionately known as the ‘Vocal Coach to the Stars’, has a client list which reads like a Who’s Who of Film and Television, boasting Oscar winners and industry icons. However, Eoin says: “Jenny secretly is one of my favourites and she has a really special talent and heartwarming show to share with anyone lucky enough to see it.”
