Comedians Nina Conti, Marcus Brigstocke and Shenoah Allen are now confirmed to appear in the 2018 50-Hour Improvathon, Strictly Not Dancing, which is put on every year by the team behind Showstoppers: The Improvised Musical.
A 50-hour improvised comedy soap opera starring some of the world’s leading improvisers. This year’s epic is set in 1980s Blackpool, at The World Ballroom Dancing Championships… It’s Strictly like you’ve never seen it before!
Taking place from 7pm on Friday 9th February and running for 50 hours until 9pm on Sunday 11th February at The Stockwell Playhouse, this is a thrilling Improv achievement that pushes performers to their limits and shows true talent at its finest.
With two hour episodes running back to back from Friday evening to Sunday evening, audiences can either pay book a single episode, multiple episodes or the whole 50 hours!
Some of the cast will be performing for the whole 50 hours, while others will be able to dip in and out and taking part in as many episodes as they can manage.
Nina Conti will be performing in an Improvathon for the first time and is attempting the entire 50 hours in her first go. Marcus Brigstocke will be performing in Improvathon around his commitments in Barnum and Shenoah Allen has appeared in an Improvathon before but this is his first attempt at the whole 50 hours. Many of the other cast will be performing for the full 50 hours.
