The Stage has today announced its keynote speaker and a whole host of experts and presentations at its award-winning Future of Theatre conference, which takes place online at the end of the month.

The Stage’s award-winning Future of Theatre conference is back for three days full of fascinating insights and discussions centred around the most pressing questions for the future of theatre. The conference will take place online from Wednesday, March 30 to Friday, April 1.
Josette Bushell-Mingo delivers a keynote speech to open the Future of Theatre conference on Wednesday, March 30 on the future of drama training. Josette is an award-winning actor and director whose career has included performances with the Royal Shakespeare Company, the National Theatre and the Manchester Royal Exchange. Before being appointed principal and chief executive of the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, Bushell-Mingo was previously the head of acting at Stockholm University of the Arts, Sweden.
Attendees will also hear from leading theatremakers and industry figures as they explore topics ranging from theatre digs, fair pay on the fringe, the theatre talent drain, how the theatre sector can speak with one voice and an introduction to lobbying.
