The first official images from The Hunger Games: On Stage have been released, offering a glimpse into the spectacular stage adaptation of Suzanne Collins’s bestselling novel and Lionsgate’s blockbuster film.
Previews are currently underway at the newly built Troubadour Canary Wharf Theatre, with the official press night set for Wednesday 12 November 2025 at 7:30pm.
The production stars Mia Carragher as Katniss Everdeen, alongside Euan Garrett as Peeta Mellark, Joshua Lacey as Haymitch Abernathy, Tristan Waterson as Gale Hawthorne, and Tamsin Carroll as Effie Trinket.
Also featured are Stavros Demetraki as Caesar Flickerman, Nathan Ives-Moiba as Cinna & Mayor, Sophia Ally as Prim Everdeen & Ensemble, and Ruth Everett as Mrs. Everdeen & Ensemble.
Hollywood legend John Malkovich appears on screen at every performance as President Snow, creating a unique stage-meets-screen experience.
The ensemble cast includes Aiya Agustin, Geo Bailey, Alexandra Barredo, Imogen Brooke, Liana Cottrill, Kyerron Dixon-Bassey, Lewis Easter, Felix Garcia Guyer, Marcellus Hill, Matthew Ives, Jessica Lee, Mariana Lewis, Kiera Milward, Felipe Pacheo, Redmond Rance, Nathanael Saleh, Mark Samaras, Artemis Stamouli and Rory Toms.
Directed by Matthew Dunster and adapted by Olivier Award-winning playwright Conor McPherson, The Hunger Games: On Stage transforms the dystopian world of Panem into a thrilling live experience.
The production is staged in a purpose-built, 1,200-seat theatre-in-the-round, designed to immerse audiences in the heart of the action.
