Loveplay at Questors Theatre

Tickets are now on sale for Moira Buffini’s witty, incisive, Loveplay on at The Questors Theatre for a strictly limited run.

Sometimes funny, sometimes tragic, Loveplay is a captivating contemporary play set in one location, but spanning 2,000 years – from Roman times to the present day. Seductions and sexual encounters take us through ten scenes where people come together, sometimes willingly, sometimes not, in the ongoing search for romantic love and physical pleasure.

Written by Olivier award-winning playwright and screenwriter Moira Buffini (Silence, The Dig), this dynamic, funny and sharply observed play was first performed by the Royal Shakespeare Company at The Pit Theatre, 2001. The Questors Theatre bring you an exciting revival of this acclaimed play, performed by a company of young talent, set against a bold design that will transport you from Renaissance times to modern day online dating.

Performed by The Questors Student Group, marking a momentous 75 years since the course was first founded.

Loveplay is at The Questors Theatre 25th March – 2nd April 2022.
