Fresh from her triumphant UK solo tour, Britain’s Got Talent winner Sydnie Christmas is set to star as Cruella De Vil in 101 Dalmatians The Musical.
The smash-hit production will transfer to London’s Eventim Apollo for a strictly limited six-week run from 18 July to 30 August 2025.
Sydnie Christmas captured the hearts of the nation with her powerhouse vocals and emotional performances on Britain’s Got Talent. Her debut album My Way topped the iTunes charts in both the UK and the US.
She has since performed at the Royal Variety Performance in front of King Charles III, made her sold-out New York debut at Sony Hall, and appeared at David Foster’s 75th birthday celebration at the Hollywood Bowl alongside Michael Bublé, Andrea Bocelli, and Jennifer Hudson.
Sydnie said, “I can’t wait to sink my teeth into this iconic character! There’s a bit of me that I see in Cruella, so I’m excited to see her evolve…”
101 Dalmatians The Musical is based on Dodie Smith’s beloved novel and features music and lyrics by Douglas Hodge, a book by Johnny McKnight, and a stage adaptation by Zinnie Harris.
The production is directed by Bill Buckhurst, with set design by David Woodhead, costumes by Sarah Mercadé, and choreography by Lucy Hind. Musical supervision is by Alfonso Casado Trigo, with orchestration by Jack Hopkins.

The story follows fashion-obsessed Cruella de Vil as she hatches a plan to turn Dalmatian puppies into her next fur coat, putting Pongo, Perdi, and their adorable litter in grave danger.
Audiences can expect spectacular puppetry, dazzling choreography, catchy songs, and a heartwarming tale for the whole family.
The original production premiered at Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre in 2022.
