The Other Palace Studio has announced the return of Kevin McCallister in A Homo Alone 2: Yikes, We Did It Again!, the follow-up to the sold-out 2024 hit Homo Alone.
Running from 13 November 2026 to 3 January 2027, the festive musical parody reunites writers Jodie Prenger and Neil Hurst, who previously enjoyed success at the venue with Lovers Actually, The Other Palace Studio’s best-selling show to date.
Thomas John Stocks stars as Kevin, joined by Jenny Bede (Prince Andrew: The Musical), Jermaine Woods (The Producers) and Charlotte Dixon in a cast that takes on a host of comic roles throughout the production.
Set in New York City, the show finds Kevin once again separated from his family, armed with his dad’s credit card and let loose in what the production describes as “the gayest place on Earth”. Along the way, he encounters bungling burglars, an eccentric hotel manager and an unexpected appearance from Donald Trump.
Prenger said: “Did you say KEVIN?! Well, he’s back and this time, in New York City! He’s older, more mischievous and has been left to his own devices one more time (a bit like the writing team!). And don’t worry if you missed the first instalment, you won’t have to have seen Homo Alone to join the party, but be warned that sweet childhood memories may be at risk! Intrigued? If you are, why not tell Santa that instead of presents this year, you just want tickets to see A Homo Alone 2 – even though you may end up on the naughty list.”
The production is directed by Laura Checkley (Detectorists), with choreography by Philip Michael Thomas, musical direction and arrangements by Tom Noyes, design by Reuben Speed, lighting design by Matt Hockley and sound design by Tom Jervis.
Described as an upbeat and irreverent festive theatre experience, A Homo Alone 2: Yikes, We Did It Again! promises a camp Christmas outing packed with music, comedy and plenty of cheeky surprises.
The production will play at The Other Palace Studio, London, with a press night scheduled for 18 November 2026.
