Backstage Curry Podcast

Acting For Others today announces the launch of new podcast series Backstage Curry presented by actor and presenter Mark Curry featuring behind the scenes conversations with performers, broadcasters and creatives.

The first guests on Backstage Curry will include: Wicked’s current Elphaba Alexia Khadime; Dr Who and West End Star Bonnie Langford; Strictly star Debbie McGee, Eurovision’s Sonia, host of TV’s Most Haunted Yvette Fielding and many more.

The first episode Being Green featuring Alexia Khadime will be available from Friday 21 June wherever you get your podcasts.

Mark Curry said today, “I am fascinated by how other performers prepare for shows and how shows and events are put together which is something I am excited to discuss with guests on Backstage Curry. I’m hoping listeners will be interested too and, after listening, will be inspired to donate to, Acting For Others, thereby supporting any industry professionals currently facing financial or emotional challenges.”

In each episode, Mark will delve into the detail of what it takes to create theatre, live shows and events; discussing the process, discipline required, challenges faced and the rewards’ gleaned in a career in the arts. These unique, peering under the bonnet conversations give honest authentic insights to the questions we’d all love to ask our fantasy dinner party guests.
