ATG Entertainment has announced a strengthening of its UK theatre programming team as the company prepares for its next phase of growth across London, the UK and international markets.
The global theatre operator said the changes will enhance support for producers while helping secure the strongest range of productions for its London and regional venues.
As part of the reshuffle, Global Chief Content Officer Michael Lynas will increase his focus on the company’s global programming and production investment strategy, while continuing to maintain key producer relationships across the UK, US and Europe.
Charlotte Longstaff will rejoin ATG Entertainment in September as London Programming Director following seven years with LW Theatres.
Longstaff brings extensive West End programming experience and established relationships with producers. She will work alongside Holly Mirams, who remains Head of London Programming, to secure productions for ATG’s West End portfolio.
Meanwhile, Stuart Griffiths will continue as Director of UK Programming, working with Nicky Monk and the regional programming team to support producers and promoters while delivering a broad programme of entertainment across the country.
Announcing the changes, ATG Entertainment Global CEO Melanie Smith said: “We are always looking to bring the best shows to our theatres and today’s announcement further strengthens the team that focuses on this content and manages the relationships with producers. I am delighted that Charlie Longstaff is returning to ATG and look forward to working with her.
“I am excited that we have the right global team in place to lead our next stage of growth, with Michael focussing on the big strategic content objectives that add value for our theatres, audiences and producers.”
ATG Entertainment operates, owns or programmes 70 venues across the UK, North America and Continental Europe. Its portfolio includes major West End venues such as the Duke of York’s Theatre, Savoy Theatre, Apollo Victoria Theatre, Lyceum Theatre and Phoenix Theatre, alongside regional theatres and music venues across the UK.
The company also operates seven Broadway theatres and has expanded its presence in Europe through venues in Germany and Spain, while its ticketing platforms serve millions of customers annually across multiple markets.
