Awkward Prods and Babe Creative have announced My Roman Empire, a brand-new pop culture podcast hosted by creative duo and real-life partners Linus Karp and Joseph Martin.

The show invites guests from across the entertainment world to share the pop culture moments they’re obsessed with—their personal “Roman Empires.”

A three-part festive special, My Roman Empire (At Christmas), is available now ahead of the full series launch in early 2026. These episodes combine nostalgia, humour and a healthy dose of queer chaos, exploring the classics that shape our festive imaginations.

Episode 1 – 12 December – A Very Awkward Christmas
Linus and Joseph dive into their top five festive films and songs, promising pure camp, unfiltered fandom, and plenty of Vanessa Hudgens.

Episode 2 – 19 December
Drag Race UK favourite and Celebrity Mastermind winner Kate Butch joins to celebrate her lifelong obsession with the BBC’s adaptation of The Chronicles of Narnia, alongside discussions of RuPaul’s Drag Race and her career-defining role as Angela Merkel.
