BBC CBeebies return to Shakespeare’s Globe with ‘Twelfth Night’ in May Half Term

Family favourite BBC CBeebies returns to Shakespeare’s Globe with Twelfth Night for four live performances on 30 and 31 May performed in London’s iconic open-air Globe Theatre.

CBeebies will give Shakespeare’s comedy their unique twist following 2022’s sell-out hit As You Like It, also performed on the Globe stage. Pre-school children and their families will join BBC CBeebies favourites in Illyria for this tale of love and mistaken identity.

With plenty of songs and dancing, this is the perfect introduction to Shakespeare for younger audiences. The performances will be recorded in front of a live audience before airing on the BBC CBeebies Channel and BBC iPlayer in 2024.

BBC CBeebies: As You Like It at Shakespeare’s Globe will air on BBC CBeebies on 7 April 2023, available to watch on-demand on BBC iPlayer thereafter.

Alongside the return of BBC CBeebies, Shakespeare’s Globe is delighted to announce Twelfth Night interactive family workshops for 3–5-year-olds and their grown-ups. Families can explore the fun, musical world of Twelfth Night with practical activities and games led by one of the Globe’s practitioners.
