The Lyric Hammersmith Theatre’s much-loved annual pantomime returns this festive season with Jack and the Beanstalk, running from Saturday 15 November 2025 to Sunday 4 January 2026.
Following last year’s smash-hit Aladdin, the production reunites writer Sonia Jalaly and director Nicholai La Barrie for another magical adventure.
The newly announced cast features Jade Hackett as Fairy Godfather, Sam Harrison as Dame Trott, Joey James as Jack, EastEnders and West End star John Partridge as Fleshcreep, and Sienna Widd as Jill.
Joining them in the ensemble are Gabriela Benedetti, Harriet Caplan-Dean, Robert Donnelly, and Rachel Seirian.
The creative team includes Georgia Lowe (Set and Costume Design), Kayla Lomas-Kirton (Choreography), Matt Haskins (Lighting Design), Corin Buckeridge (Composer and Arranger), Nick Manning (Sound Design), Adam Gerber (Musical Director), Olivia Zacharia (Associate Musical Director), Richard Johnston (Casting Director), and Gráinne Flynn (Assistant Director).
This year’s story follows Jack and Jill on their first day at Fleshcreep Academy, where trouble brews under the watchful eye of a strict headteacher and a chaotic dinner lady. With magic missing and danger looming, Jack must climb to new heights to save Hammersmith.
Expect musical bangers, jaw-dropping magic, and whip-smart comedy in a show that promises festive fun for all ages.
Rachel O’Riordan, Artistic Director of the Lyric Hammersmith Theatre, said:
“Panto is at the heart of the festive season in West London, at your beautiful Lyric Hammersmith Theatre. As we celebrate our 130th birthday year, we’re delighted to welcome back writer Sonia Jalaly and the Lyric’s Associate Director Nicholai La Barrie – the talented duo behind last year’s smash-hit Aladdin – to reimagine the much-loved tale of Jack and the Beanstalk in our own Lyric way! Pantomime is one of the most joyful moments in our year: a time for connection, community, and celebration in our magical auditorium. This season, we invite you into a world of fun, imagination, and festive cheer, as we proudly continue to lead the way in bringing this vibrant art form to life.”
