Belgrade Theatre, in association with Imagine Theatre, has announced the full cast and creative team for its annual pantomime, Sleeping Beauty, written by and starring Iain Lauchlan.

The festive favourite will run from Wednesday 19 November 2025 to Saturday 3 January 2026, with a press performance scheduled for Friday 21 November. A Relaxed Performance will take place at 2pm on Friday 2 January.

Sleeping Beauty follows Princess Aurora, who is cursed to sleep for 100 years unless kissed by her true love. A brave Prince and his two bumbling sidekicks set out to save her, but the wicked Fairy Carabosse has other plans.

Audiences can expect fairytale sets, outlandish costumes, a breathtaking dragon, and plenty of laughter in this beloved Christmas tradition.

Leading the cast is Iain Lauchlan as ‘Nanny Fanny McWheeze’, returning to the Belgrade after previous pantos including Dick Whittington, Cinderella, and Jack and the Beanstalk.
