Michael Hanratty and Timothy Harker have been announced as the principal cast in the upcoming stage debut of Consumables, a provocative new play at the King’s Head Theatre as part of their 2017 Queer Season.

Rising star Michael Hanratty’s credits include Young Lucius in the sell out Arcola Theatre / Edinburgh Fringe show Titus Andronicus and Silvius in As You Like It (Rose Playhouse.) He has also starred in a variety of short and feature length films including Gregor Fitio’s upcoming film Different.

Timothy Harker’s recent stage appearances include Incident at Vichy (Kings Head Theatre/ Finborough Theatre), Jack Silver’s revival of Tennessee Williams Confessional (Southwark Playhouse), Ball Bag (The Lost Theatre) and Montgomery and Push Up Daisies (The Hope Theatre.) He also has a variety of on screen credits including BBC drama Peaky Blinders.

Blaize, a young down-and-out porn star, responds to an internet ad from his number one fan. Leonard, a virgin in a gimp mask, spends his day preparing to finally meet the pin-up star of his adult video collection.

In the small North-London council flat that has been covered in plastic, Leonard offers to serve Blaize up a very special kind of meal.
