The Official Paddington Bear™ Experience has celebrated its second birthday with a special orange carpet event at London’s County Hall on the South Bank.
Guests at the anniversary event included Adeel Akhtar, Vanessa Bauer, Charlene Douglas, Amy Hart, Sarah Niles, Kate Lawler, Katherine Parkinson, Kate Phillips, Verity Rushworth, Alex Walkinshaw and Anna Wilson-Jones.
The large-scale immersive attraction first opened on 31 May 2024 and has since welcomed more than 500,000 visitors, including over 8,000 school children.
Created by The Path Entertainment Group in collaboration with STUDIOCANAL KIDS & FAMILY Ltd and Lionsgate, the experience spans more than 26,000 square feet inside County Hall.
Visitors are invited to step into Paddington’s world, beginning at Paddington Station before travelling through London landmarks to the Brown family home at Windsor Gardens.
The interactive adventure features themed rooms, games, and character encounters, culminating in a Marmalade Day street party where guests can enjoy Paddington’s favourite treat.
Over the past two years, more than 100 actors and backstage staff have helped bring the attraction to life, with over 28,000 marmalade sandwiches enjoyed and more than 111,000 photos taken with Paddington.
To mark the anniversary, the experience also provided complimentary tickets to more than 800 children from local primary schools.
A special summer edition of The Official Paddington Bear™ Experience is now available, running from 7 June to 6 September.
The seasonal offering includes additional treats such as ice cream, macarons, and a themed souvenir package featuring a suitcase lunchbox, Paddington ears, marmalade sandwich, drink and postcard.
