Connor Carson has joined the cast of Stoker Wilde, taking on the role of Bram Stoker in the new musical in development at Wilton’s Music Hall.
Carson replaces Jamie Bogyo, who has withdrawn from the production due to injury ahead of the show’s seven-performance run from 27 to 31 October 2026.
In a statement, the producers said: “We are all incredibly saddened that, due to injury, Jamie Bogyo is unable to continue with Stoker Wilde at Wilton’s Music Hall. Jamie has been such an important part of the development of this show, and we know how much it means to him. We are heartbroken that he won’t be joining us on stage for this next chapter, but enormously grateful for everything he has brought to the production.”
Bogyo added: “I’m truly disappointed not to be able to continue with Stoker Wilde at this time, but I cannot wait for the world to see what the creative team and this brilliant cast have created.”
The producers also welcomed Carson to the company, saying: “We are delighted to welcome Connor Carson to the company in the role of Bram Stoker, and are hugely grateful to him for stepping into the production at such short notice.”
Carson’s previous theatre credits include The Rocky Horror Show in the West End and on UK tour, The Phantom of the Opera in the West End, Closer to Heaven at the Turbine Theatre and Bring It On: The Musical.
He joins a cast led by Glenn Adamson as Oscar Wilde, alongside Christina Bennington, Jemma Geanaus, Matt Rixon, Oliver Stockley and three-time Olivier Award winner David Bedella.
The new glam-rock musical explores the lives of Bram Stoker and Oscar Wilde, charting their journeys from Dublin to London as they navigate ambition, rivalry and inspiration, leading to the creation of Dracula and The Picture of Dorian Gray.
With a book and lyrics by Eric Rosen and music and lyrics by Rodney Bush, Stoker Wilde is directed by Séimí Campbell and is presented by Jerry Goehring and Andrew House.
