A prince, a ball, and a glass slipper filled with an ice cream sundae—Cinderella Ice Cream Seller – A Musical is a deliciously reimagined twist on the classic fairytale, running at Underbelly, Bristo Square (Ermintrude) from 30 July to 17 August (not 13 & 14) at 11:40.

Created by Little Seeds Music, this vibrant musical is told through the eyes of two ice cream parlour employees, Talvi and Caldwell, who recount the story of how Cinderella rose from humble beginnings to become the queen of the kingdom’s most beloved ice cream empire. As they sing and multi-role their way through the tale, tensions rise between the two narrators, adding a layer of heart and humour to the storytelling.

Written, composed, and performed by David Gibb, and directed by Tristan Jackson-Pate, the show blends live music, theatrical magic, and playful storytelling. It’s a joyful celebration of bravery, creativity, and collaboration, perfect for children aged 5+ and their families.
