Double Take returns to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe with a visually driven performance combining mime, puppetry and physical theatre.

Created by Broken Box Mime Theater and Dutch Kills Theater Company, the production presents a series of short, interconnected stories told entirely without words. Each vignette captures moments drawn from everyday life alongside more imaginative scenarios, revealing humour and emotional detail through movement alone.

Using a minimal set and a shifting visual language, the performers rely on physical expression and audience imagination to bring each scene to life. Accompanied by an atmospheric score, the show builds a sequence of moments that range from playful observation to more reflective storytelling.

Following previous runs at the Fringe and internationally, the production continues to develop its distinctive style, demonstrating the expressive possibilities of non-verbal theatre.

Double Take runs at Underbelly Bristo Square from 05 – 30 August at 13:25. Tickets are on sale here
