Fag Packet, the award-winning drag and cabaret duo, make their Edinburgh Fringe debut with DYKE Systems Ltd, a darkly comic satire set in the pastel-hued world of 1990s multi-level marketing. Running from 30 July to 25 August (excluding 6, 12 & 19 August) at Pleasance Courtyard, this outrageous two-hander blends drag, physical theatre, and audience interaction in a hilarious and biting critique of capitalism, queerness, and corporate feminism.
Written and performed by Kheski Kobler and Holly Wilson-Guy, and directed by Lucy Allan, the show follows suburban businesswomen Sally and Susan as they recruit new members to their definitely-not-a-pyramid-scheme. But as their pastel-perfect lives begin to crack, long-buried tensions and desires rise to the surface in a chaotic unraveling of identity and ambition.
With Fag Packet’s signature blend of cabaret and satire, DYKE Systems Ltd is a bold, bawdy, and brilliantly subversive exploration of queerness in a capitalist world.
