Noted comes to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe with a non-verbal performance that combines illustration, movement and live projection.
Created by The Back Pack and presented with Dutch Kills Theater Company, the show uses over 400 hand-drawn images to construct a fast-moving visual narrative. Performers manipulate drawings, props and everyday objects in real time, transforming them into an evolving sequence of scenes.
Using an overhead camera and live video, the production blends animation with physical theatre, creating a style that shifts between playful invention and carefully choreographed storytelling. Without spoken dialogue, the show relies on visual language, music and timing to communicate its ideas.
Part of a wider programme of work from Dutch Kills Theater Company at this year’s Fringe, Noted highlights the potential of simple materials to create imaginative and engaging theatre.
Noted runs at Assembly Roxy from 06 – 30 August at 10:15. Tickets are on sale hereÂ
