Reginald D Hunter returns to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe with his latest stand-up show, Something Wicked That Other Way Comes, performing at Assembly Ballroom.

A three-time Perrier Award nominee, Hunter has built a formidable reputation over nearly 25 years in the UK for his distinctive comedic voice, blending sharp social commentary with effortless wit. His latest show sees him re-emerge after a period of absence, with a characteristically fearless approach to storytelling.

Described as a “vagabond” figure returning to the stage, Hunter brings together new material shaped by recent experiences and observations. With his trademark style, he delves into big ideas while delivering incisive humour that has earned him widespread acclaim across stage and screen.

Hunter is a familiar face on British television, with appearances including Live at the Apollo, Have I Got News for You and 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown, as well as his BBC series Songs of the South and Songs of the Border. His live performances continue to demonstrate why he remains one of the most respected comedians on the circuit.

With praise from critics highlighting his ability to balance thought-provoking content with laugh-out-loud moments, Something Wicked That Other Way Comes promises to be another compelling addition to his body of work.
