Snail Trail comes to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, combining drag, comedy and personal storytelling to explore queerness through the natural world.

Written and performed by Bi-Curious George, the show uses the unexpected lens of snails to draw connections between nature and identity. Moving between anecdotes, scientific facts and character work, the performance examines trans-masculinity and the experience of transitioning.

Blending humour with curiosity, the production reflects on how difference is understood and celebrated in nature, while questioning why similar openness is not always extended to people. Through costume, movement and storytelling, the show creates a space for reflection alongside its playful tone.

Bi-Curious George said, “I wanted to show the soft, gentle, joyous side of our lives… and remind everyone that we are just people… all while in a snail costume.”

Snail Trail runs at Pleasance Courtyard from 05 – 31 August at 15:00. Tickets are on sale here
