Dick V Dom

Dick V Dom

After 20 years on our screens the legendary kids presenters and quadruple BAFTA winning comedy duo Dick & Dom, debut at the Edinburgh Festival at the massive Underbelly McEwan Hall for 12 nights from 1st – 12th August.

Their show ‘Dick V Dom’ is everything we love and expect from these two TV legends.  You don’t just sit and watch the show….YOU ARE THE SHOW!!! Dick and Dom split the audience right down the middle, creating ‘The Dick’s’ and ‘The Dom’s’.

It’s a totally interactive experience set in a boxing ring where the audience are involved in 8 rounds of the funniest games you can see on stage. Join in with the non-sweary song, watch your mum try to punch out of a paper bag in ‘Bag Lady’ and don’t turn up in your best suit in case you are picked for ‘Splat Statues’. Expect mess, chaos and of course Bogies as the referee crowns the winning team.

TV stars Dick and Dom are Richard “Dick” McCourt and Dominic “Dom” Wood. Originating from Children’s BBC, before moving onto the double Bafta winning show ‘Dick and Dom in da Bungalow’ that ran for five series between 2002 and 2006. They presented The Sunday Morning Show on BBC Radio 1as well as ‘Are You Smarter than a 10 Year Old?’ for  Sky 1.  Their many other hit TV shows include ‘The Legend of Dick & Dom’, Diddy Movies and Diddy TV, Splatalot, Dick & Dom’s HOOPLA and the BAFTA award winning ‘Absolute Genius With Dick and Dom’ all for CBBC.

In 2016, the pair voiced the roles of Unhygienix and Fulliautomatix in the English release of the film Asterix: The Mansions of the Gods.  They also starred in the hit film ‘Horrid Henry: The Movie’.
