Probably the funniest Italian in the UK, Luca Cupani returns to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe with his new show God Digger at the Underbelly this August.

Having lived a fairly safe and sin-free life so far, Luca’s hypochrondria and imaginary diseases have lead him to further question his Catholocism for life’s answers. Does he find any? You’ll have to come along to find out…

As a newcomer to the London comedy scene, Luca performed his first stand up set at the famous Gong Show at the Comedy Store – and won.  Luca grew accustomed to this feeling, as he went on to win 2015’s So You Think You’re Funny and was a finalist in the Leicester Square New Comedian of the Year (2015) and New Act of the Year (2016) competitions. Since then, his career has just gone from strength to strength. He has appeared at the Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal and has garnered critical praise at the last three Edinburgh Festival Fringes and Leicester Comedy Festivals. Luca has also performed over in the States in the Seattle and San Francisco International Comedy Competitions.
