Jamie Lloyd’s acclaimed revival of Evita has confirmed its Broadway home at the Winter Garden Theatre, with tickets now on sale for the 2027 run.
The production, starring Olivier Award and Golden Globe winner Rachel Zegler as Eva Perón, will begin preview performances on 27 February 2027, with an official opening night set for 25 March.
While the transfer of the hit London revival was previously announced, this latest update reveals full details of the theatre and on-sale dates, with public booking opening from 1 June 2026.
The production arrives in New York following a sold-out season at the London Palladium, where it garnered widespread critical acclaim and major awards success.
Zegler’s performance earned her the Olivier Award for Best Actress in a Musical, with the production also winning Best Musical Revival at the WhatsOnStage Awards.
Featuring music by Andrew Lloyd Webber and lyrics by Tim Rice, Evita tells the story of Eva Perón’s rise from poverty to become one of the most powerful figures in Latin America.
The score includes some of musical theatre’s most enduring songs, including “Don’t Cry For Me Argentina”, “Oh What A Circus”, and “Another Suitcase in Another Hall”.
The Broadway engagement will follow Jamie Lloyd’s upcoming production of Much Ado About Nothing at the same theatre, continuing his work at the historic venue.
Further casting and creative team details are expected to be announced.
