A first look at Alexandra Burke as Morticia Addams has been revealed ahead of the highly anticipated UK tour of The Addams Family – The Musical Comedy, opening this July.

The multi-award-winning singer and actress, known for The X Factor, Sister Act, and The Bodyguard, will lead the cast as the iconic matriarch of the delightfully macabre Addams clan.

Joining Burke are Lesley Joseph (Birds of a Feather) as Grandma, Clive Rowe (The Prince of Egypt) as Uncle Fester, and Ricardo Afonso (Jesus Christ Superstar) as Gomez Addams.

Lauren Jones will play Wednesday Addams, with Nicholas McLean as Pugsley, Dickon Gough as Lurch, Dale Rapley as Mal, Jacob Fowler as Lucas, and Kara Lane as Alice.

The Addams Family features a book by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice (Jersey Boys), and music and lyrics by Tony Award-nominated Andrew Lippa. The musical is based on the beloved characters created by Charles Addams.
