Photos by Pamela Raith offer a glimpse into rehearsals for My Fair Lady, opening at The Mill at Sonning Theatre on 20 November and running until 17 January.
The production stars Simbi Akande as Eliza Doolittle and Nadim Naaman as Henry Higgins. Sophie-Louise Dann plays Mrs Higgins and Mrs Hopkins, with Jo Servi as Colonel Pickering and Mark Moraghan as Alfred P. Doolittle.
Francesca Ellis takes on the roles of Mrs Pearce and Mrs Eynsford-Hill, while Christopher Parkinson appears as Zoltan Karpathy. Alfie Blackwell plays Freddy Eynsford-Hill, joined by Conor McFarlane as Jamie and James William-Pattison as Harry.
The ensemble includes Zaynah Ahmed, Imogen Bailey, Emma Fraser, and Nadia Kramer.
Directed by Joseph Pitcher, the creative team features set designer Diego Pitarch, costume designer Natalie Titchener, sound designer Chris Whybrow, and lighting designer Jamie Platt. Music supervision and arrangements are by Charlie Ingles, with Nick Tudor as musical director. Alex Christian serves as co-choreographer, Matthew Jeans as assistant director, and casting by Jane Deitch.
My Fair Lady promises a festive season highlight at one of the UK’s most celebrated dinner theatres.
