Plastered Productions has released first look rehearsal images for Michael McKeever’s acclaimed play Daniel’s Husband, which makes its UK premiere at Marylebone Theatre for a limited season from 4 December 2025 to 10 January 2026.

Directed by Alan Souza, the production stars three-time Olivier Award winner David Bedella (& Juliet, In the Heights, Jerry Springer: The Opera), Luke Fetherston (Big Mood), Raiko Gohara (A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder), Joel Harper-Jackson (Cock), and Liza Sadovy (Cabaret).

Daniel’s Husband is an unflinching look at the nature of love, asking audiences to consider where our strongest convictions live: in our hearts or in our minds. Daniel and Mitchell live a meticulously curated life, but an unexpected crisis jeopardises their future and tests the strength of their devotion.

Plastered Productions said:

“We know that Daniel’s Husband is the perfect play for our inaugural production in London. We hope that this production inspires vital reflections on the nature of marriage, companionship, and the morality of our choices in the face of uncertainty.”

The play premiered at Island City Stage in 2015, winning three Carbonell Awards including Best New Work, and later enjoyed successful runs at Cherry Lane Theatre and Westside Theatre in New York.
