New production photographs have been released showing Wendi Peters and Matthew James Morrison in the 20th anniversary UK tour of the hit West End comedy Glorious!.
The photos, taken by Danny Kaan, offer a first look at the new staging ahead of the national press night at Windsor Theatre Royal on Tuesday 17 March at 7.30pm.
Wendi Peters and Matthew James Morrison lead the cast of this new touring production. Peters stars as Florence Foster Jenkins, the New York socialite celebrated and mocked in equal measure for her flamboyant costumes and famously off‑key singing. Morrison plays Cosme McMoon, Florence’s loyal accompanist who becomes her unlikely friend as she prepares for her most daring concert yet at Carnegie Hall.
They are joined by Caroline Gruber as Maria and Mrs Verrinder‑Gedge, and Sioned Jones as Dorothy. Jones will also cover the role of Florence, reprising her involvement from the original 2005 West End production.
Completing the cast are Ella-Maria Danson as ASM and cover for Maria, Dorothy and Mrs Verrinder‑Gedge, and Ryan Hall as ASM and cover for Cosme McMoon.
Glorious! will tour across the UK from February to June 2026 as it celebrates twenty years since its acclaimed West End debut starring Dame Maureen Lipman. Since its original run, the comedy has played in 36 countries, translated into 25 languages and inspired the Oscar-winning film Florence Foster Jenkins starring Meryl Streep and Hugh Grant.
The anniversary tour is directed by Kirk Jameson. The creative team includes Casting Director JJ Bee, Musical Supervisor Nick Barstow, Scenographer and Costume Designer Ingrid Hu, Lighting Designer Mike Robertson, Sound Designer Mark Goggins, Wig Designer Helen Keane and Associate Costume Designer Lorraine Parry. Thomas Hopkins Productions oversees General Management and Tour Booking, with marketing by Dressing Room Five and PR by Kevin Wilson Public Relations.
