Plastered Productions has unveiled the first look at cast portrait images for Michael McKeever’s acclaimed off-Broadway play Daniel’s Husband, which will make its UK premiere at the Marylebone Theatre in London. The limited season runs from 4 December 2025 to 10 January 2026, with a national press night on 9 December 2025.

The production will star David Bedella (three-time Olivier Award winner for & Juliet, In the Heights and Jerry Springer: The Opera), Luke Fetherston (Big Mood, Channel 4), Raiko Gohara (A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder, Netflix), Joel Harper-Jackson (Cock, Ambassadors Theatre) and Liza Sadovy (Olivier Award winner for Cabaret, The KitKat Club, West End) as Barry, Mitchell, Trip, Daniel and Lydia respectively.

Daniel’s Husband explores the nature of love and commitment. Daniel and Mitchell live a meticulously curated life with successful careers, a beautiful home, and a profound love for one another. But when an unexpected crisis threatens their future, the foundation of their relationship is shaken, testing the strength of their devotion.

The play will be directed by Alan Souza, with set and costume design by Justin Williams, lighting design by Jamie Platt, sound design by Sarah Weltman, and casting by Arthur Carrington.

Originally premiering at Island City Stage in 2015, Daniel’s Husband won three Carbonell Awards, including Best New Work. It later enjoyed successful runs at Cherry Lane Theatre and Westside Theatre in New York, earning an Off-Broadway Alliance Award nomination.
