New rehearsal images have been released for the UK stage premiere of Freaky Friday, coming to HOME Manchester from 27 November 2025 to 10 January 2026.

The photos offer a glimpse of the cast in action as they prepare to bring the beloved body-swapping story to life. Directed by Andy Fickman, the musical features a book by Bridget Carpenter, music by Tom Kitt, and lyrics by Brian Yorkey.

Leading the cast are Rebecca Lock (Here and Now, Heathers The Musical) as Katherine and Jena Pandya (Come Fall In Love, Bhangra Nation) as Ellie. They are joined by Ian Virgo, Samantha Ho, Beth Savill, Jessica Butterworth, Ellie Gilbert-Grey, Max Mirza, Morgan Gregory, Dylan Gordon-Jones, Waylon Jacobs, Tori Scott, Katharine Pearson, James Stirling, and Catherine Millsom, with Ghaith Saleh and Jackson Waites sharing the role of Fletcher.

Based on the classic novel by Mary Rodgers and the hit Disney films, Freaky Friday follows an overworked mother and her teenage daughter who magically swap bodies for one unforgettable day.

Presented by Paul Taylor-Mills, the production also features choreography by Alexzandra Sarmiento, set and costume design by David Shields, and lighting by Nick Richings.
