Punchdrunk Enrichment has unveiled first-look production photography for the world premiere of Fireside Tales, opening in London this Christmas.

Running from 6 December 2025 to 4 January 2026 at Punchdrunk Enrichment Stores in Wembley Park, this enchanting interactive adventure is designed for children aged 7–11 and their grown-ups. Early evening performances for adults only will also be available.

Written and directed by Steve McCourt, incoming Artistic Director of Punchdrunk Enrichment, Fireside Tales invites audiences to step into a magical world where stories flicker like flames and imagination keeps them burning bright. Developed with schools, the production encourages young audiences to draw, write and share their own stories.

The cast includes Siddiqua Akhtar (A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder, BBC/Netflix), Rebecca Clark (Frantic Assembly, Complicité), Amari Harris (Old Vic, Half Moon Theatre) and Alex Stedman (The Lost Lending Library, Punchdrunk Enrichment).

The creative team features design by Mydd Pharo, costume design by Melissa Simon-Hartman, lighting design by Sarah Readman, and sound design by Dominic Kennedy.

“For thousands of years, people have gathered around fires to share stories. But this tradition is fading, and many are at risk of being lost. Now, a new story has arrived: faint as an ember, not yet ready to be told. It needs help to stay alive.”

Tickets start from £15, with discounts available for Brent residents. A BSL performance will take place on Saturday 3 January at 11am, and relaxed performances are scheduled for Sunday 4 January at 11am. Additional pay-what-you-can performances are also available.
