First look images have been released for Unfortunate: The Untold Story of Ursula the Sea Witch at The Other Palace.
The new images offer a glimpse of the production’s brand-new set, costumes and expanded staging, which accompany the show’s return following a successful Christmas season at the Lowry.
Sam Buttery returns as Ursula, joined by Allie Dart, Blair Robertson, James Spence and Freya McMahon. Julie Yammanee joins the company as Ariel, with Jacob Whawell and Kelly Sweeney completing the ensemble.
The musical, featuring book and lyrics by Robyn Grant and Daniel Foxx and music by Tim Gilvin, promises to be bigger, better and ruder, with new jokes, new characters and a refreshed running time of 2 hours and 15 minutes including an interval.
The production first premiered at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2019 before multiple sold-out runs in London and a UK tour, as well as an international staging in Sweden.
