Orange Tree Theatre has released first look production images for its upcoming revival of Vincent in Brixton, directed by Georgia Green and starring Niamh Cusack and Jeroen Frank Kales.

The images offer an early glimpse into the atmospheric new staging of Nicholas Wright’s Olivier Award-winning play, which explores the formative London years of Vincent van Gogh.

The production marks the first major revival of the play since its National Theatre premiere, where it won the 2003 Olivier Award for Best New Play.

Georgia Green directs Niamh Cusack in her return to the Orange Tree, joined by Jeroen Frank Kales as Vincent van Gogh, with Rawaed Asde, Amber Van Der Brugge and Ayesha Ostler completing the cast.

Set in 1873 in a modest South London boarding house, Vincent in Brixton imagines the unexpected connections and personal discoveries that shape the young van Gogh before his rise to fame.
